VillageMD, through its Village Medical subsidiary, is acquiring Primary Care Medical Associates (Dr. Robert Perlmuter’s primary care practice) and will open a new Village Medical clinic at 1460 N. Halsted Street in Chicago. The transaction brings Dr. Perlmuter and his six-provider team into Village Medical as VillageMD expands its value-based primary care footprint into the Chicago market.

VillageMD Acquires Ocean State Healthcare from New Harbor Capital

Ocean State Healthcare — a Rhode Island primary care network with 68 clinical providers across 12 locations serving ~200,000 patients annually — will become part of Village Medical as VillageMD expands its value-based primary care footprint in the state.

Harbor Health Acquires 32 VillageMD Clinics Across Texas

Harbor Health, an Austin-based primary and specialty care clinic group and insurance company, is acquiring 32 clinics from VillageMD, expanding its Texas footprint into San Antonio, El Paso and Dallas. The deal increases Harbor Health’s clinic count from 11 to 43, adds more than 80 clinicians, and supports expansion of its integrated care-and-insurance offerings across the state.

VillageMD Acquires Bandera Family Medical Group

Skylight Health Group Acquires NeighborMD

Skylight Health Group acquired NeighborMD, a Florida-based primary care operator, with the purchase funded in part by a US$20 million acquisition facility provided by FLC Credit Partners. NeighborMD reported an unaudited trailing-12-month primary care revenue of approximately US$35 million and ~2,400 capitated risk lives; the deal more than doubles Skylight’s revenue run rate and supports further consolidation of U.S. outpatient primary care.
