Olympic Steel Acquires Metal Works

Olympic Steel, Inc. (Nasdaq: ZEUS) has acquired Metal Works, a manufacturer of metal canopy components, roll-formed products and solar racking, in an all-cash transaction. Metal Works will continue to operate from its two Oakwood, Georgia facilities and will be reported within Olympic Steel's Carbon Flat Rolled business segment as the acquisition expands Olympic Steel's manufactured metal product capabilities and footprint.

The acquisition expands UPM's advanced manufacturing and specialty metals capabilities by adding Fabrisonic's patented ultrasonic additive manufacturing technology to UPM's processing and materials offerings, supporting end markets including aerospace, defense, space and automotive.

Olympic Steel Acquires Central Tube & Bar

CTB, founded in 1996 with facilities in Conway, Arkansas and Tulsa, Oklahoma and trailing 12-month revenue of approximately $40 million, expands Olympic Steel's tubular and pipe products segment and value-added contract manufacturing capabilities in the Mid-South.

McElroy Metal Acquires Fabral

McElroy Metal, an employee-owned U.S. manufacturer of metal roofing and building products, has acquired Fabral, a nearly 60-year-old metal roofing and cladding brand. Fabral will continue to operate independently with its existing leadership and employees, and the deal expands McElroy Metal's presence in the metal construction market.
