UCC Environmental, a Waukegan, Illinois–based provider of engineered environmental systems for solids handling, wastewater treatment and air pollution control, received a strategic investment from Clavis Capital Partners and Green Hills Partners. The existing family owner remains a partial owner; the new capital will fund investments in talent, broaden UCC's environmental and water solutions, and accelerate international growth and market-share expansion.

York1 Acquires United Environmental Holdings Inc.

York1 has acquired United Environmental Holdings Inc., a Toronto-based solid waste service provider that operates three waste processing facilities and a roll-off collection fleet serving the Toronto and Durham regions. The deal expands York1's Ontario processing footprint to 10 facilities and enables the company to internalize more collection volume, enhance landfill diversion capabilities, and capture operational synergies.

Construction Forms (H.I.G.) Acquires Tricon Wear Solutions

Construction Forms, Inc. (a portfolio company of H.I.G. Capital) has acquired Tricon Wear Solutions, a manufacturer of abrasion- and wear-resistant steel plates and fabricated products. The acquisition expands CFI's portfolio and manufacturing footprint, creating a broader industrial wear-parts platform serving end markets including mining, pulp & paper, and aggregates.

TriMas Acquires Weldmac Manufacturing Company

TriMas Corporation signed an agreement to acquire the operating net assets of Weldmac Manufacturing Company, a family estate‑owned designer and manufacturer of high‑performance metal fabricated components for aerospace, defense, space launch and commercial power markets. The deal (expected to close in the coming months) will fold Weldmac into TriMas Aerospace to expand TriMas’s engineered structural solutions and manufacturing capabilities.

Trimac Transportation Acquires Watt & Stewart

Victaulic Acquires Utility Coatings & Fabrication (UCF)

The deal, completed Feb. 7, enhances Victaulic's capabilities in the large-diameter pipe market and supports the company's strategy to manufacture more products in North America.
