TriMech, a Halifax Group portfolio company, acquired the Mastercam businesses/assets of MACDAC Engineering (Somers, CT) and Compumachine (Danvers, MA). The deals expand TriMech's Mastercam product access, technical support and regional service footprint, enabling broader CAD/CAM and shop-floor solutions for manufacturers across the Northeastern U.S.

TriMas Corporation Acquires GMT Aerospace (GMT Gummi-Metall-Technik GmbH Aerospace Business)

TriMas Corporation has completed the acquisition of the aerospace business of GMT Gummi-Metall-Technik GmbH (now operating as GMT Aerospace). GMT Aerospace, based in Germany, manufactures tie-rods and rubber-metal anti-vibration systems for commercial and military aerospace customers and generated about €22 million in fiscal 2024; the deal expands TriMas Aerospace's manufacturing footprint in Europe and strengthens relationships with European OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.

TriMas Acquires Omega Plastics and TFI Aerospace

TriMas (NASDAQ: TRS) announced bolt-on acquisitions of Omega Plastics (added to TriMas Packaging) and TFI Aerospace (added to TriMas Aerospace). Omega, a Clinton Township, Michigan injection-molding and tooling company serving medical and industrial markets, generated about $18M of revenue in 2021; TFI, near Toronto, is a specialty aerospace fastener supplier with about $6M of revenue. TriMas said both targets are private, family-owned companies and expects the deals to expand product offerings and manufacturing capacity while keeping net leverage below 2.0x.

Tramec Acquires Johnson Welded Products

Tramec, a portfolio company backed by High Street Capital and Wells Fargo Strategic Capital, has acquired Johnson Welded Products (JWP), a longtime manufacturer of steel and aluminum air reservoirs and related tanks based in Urbana, Ohio. The acquisition is Tramec's fourth add-on since its management-led recapitalization in 2021 and is intended to broaden Tramec's commercial vehicle product offering, enable cross-selling, and drive operational improvements and capacity growth at JWP's Urbana facility.

TRM Equity Acquires Assets of Gamma Aerospace, LLC

TRM Equity II acquired substantially all of the assets of Gamma Aerospace, LLC on March 2, 2023. Gamma Aerospace, a Mansfield, Texas-based manufacturer of multi-contoured formed and multi-axis machined aerospace components with three production facilities and over 200 employees, will be operated by TRM with a focus on operational improvement and stabilizing performance amid post-COVID supply and labor challenges.

TriMas Corporation Acquires RSA Engineered Products

TriMas Corporation agreed to acquire RSA Engineered Products, a Simi Valley-based manufacturer of highly engineered air ducting, connectors and related components for aerospace and defense applications. The deal, announced January 30, 2020 and closed March 2, 2020, brings RSA into TriMas' Aerospace segment and expands TriMas' capabilities and position in defense, business jet and aftermarket markets.
