Confluence Technologies, backed by Clearlake Capital and TA Associates, has agreed to acquire Compliance Solutions Strategies (CSS), a New York–based RegTech company that provides cloud-based compliance and regulatory reporting solutions. The deal, expected to close in Q4 2021, expands Confluence’s regulatory compliance capabilities and creates a combined cloud-based RegTech platform serving asset managers, hedge funds and other financial services firms.

Converge Technology Solutions Acquires Software Information Systems, LLC

Converge Technology Solutions Corp. acquired all Class A membership interests in Software Information Systems, LLC (SIS) from VBS Holding Company, Inc., giving Converge full control of SIS. The deal adds managed cloud delivery, compute/network/storage optimization and IT spend optimization capabilities to Converge's Hybrid IT platform and keeps SIS's existing management team in place.

DSS, Inc. Acquires SBG Technology Solutions, Inc.

Document Storage Systems, Inc. (DSS, Inc.) has acquired Alexandria-based SBG Technology Solutions, Inc., which will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary to expand DSS's services capabilities for the Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Defense and other federal agencies. The acquisition (closed September 8, 2021) will bolster DSS's Health IT, national security, cybersecurity and AI/ML capabilities to support government and commercial clients; financial terms were not disclosed.

Godspeed Capital’s intelligence platform Crimson Phoenix has acquired Cyberspace Solutions LLC (CSS), adding prime contracts and long-standing customer relationships with U.S. Special Operations Command and the Defense Intelligence Agency. The deal integrates CSS’ cleared workforce into Crimson Phoenix and names industry finance executive Scott Crane as platform CFO to support continued growth of the PE-backed intelligence solutions platform.
