ISI Markets Acquires EPFR to Expand Global Intelligence Platform

ISI Markets (formerly ISI Emerging Markets Group) has acquired EPFR, a leader in fund flows and allocation data, adding a proprietary macro funds-flow dataset to its CEIC and EMIS offerings. The deal, announced 1 August 2024, strengthens ISI Markets' data capabilities for asset managers, hedge funds and banks and follows prior Montagu-backed consolidation of data assets.

Warburg Pincus and Mubadala Acquire Pharma Intelligence from Informa

Warburg Pincus, joined by Mubadala Investment Company, completed the acquisition of Pharma Intelligence (the Citeline suite and related specialist brands) from Informa PLC, with Informa retaining a 15% equity stake. The investors said they will invest in product development and innovation to expand Pharma Intelligence's position in the pharmaceutical data and analytics market; Jay Nadler was appointed Executive Chair following completion.

Montagu to acquire Multifonds from Temenos AG

Montagu, a UK-based mid-market private equity firm, has agreed to acquire Multifonds — the global fund accounting and transfer agency software business — in a carve-out from Temenos AG. Multifonds, headquartered in Luxembourg and founded in 1995, will operate as a standalone company led by its existing management team after the transaction closes.

Montagu Acquires Stake in Intech (Orthopaedic Medical Device Manufacturer)

Montagu, a European private equity firm, has entered into and closed a strategic investment in Intech, the France-based global leader in contract manufacturing of orthopaedic surgical instruments. The transaction follows negotiations with existing investors Eurazeo PME and Andera Partners and will see Montagu support Intech’s management to accelerate organic and external growth, expand capacity, and strengthen its position in orthopaedics.
