The deal brings Protex's founders onto the RealTruck team and aims to expand the platform's vehicle and product coverage to enhance online and in-store shopping experiences.

XPEL, Inc. agreed to acquire Protex Centre, a Montreal-based wholesale-focused paint protection film installation business with over 20 employees. The transaction (approx. CAD$3.25 million) expands XPEL's presence in the Montreal market and will combine the acquired business with XPEL's previously acquired Protex Pointe-Claire window film business to provide an integrated wholesale solution.

Transaxle operates five locations in the Toronto, Ontario market; Transaxle owners Tom Neelin and Gary Zwygers will continue to lead day‑to‑day operations following the acquisition.

The combined company will provide 3D printers, high-performance filaments and related services from a single 68,000 sq. ft. Grand Rapids, Michigan facility to serve end markets including aerospace, medical and automotive.
