Phenna Group Acquires Atlantic Testing Laboratories

Phenna Group, a UK-based testing, inspection, certification and compliance (TICC) platform, has acquired Atlantic Testing Laboratories (ATL), a Canton, New York–headquartered engineering support and testing services firm. The acquisition strengthens Phenna's presence in the United States and expands its capabilities in construction materials, geotechnical/drilling, and environmental services across roads, pavements, groundworks and utilities.

Oakley Capital Invests in Phenna Group and Acquires CTS Group

Oakley Capital Fund V has invested in TICC platform Phenna Group in partnership with Phenna co-founders Paul Barry and David Harrison, who are reinvesting alongside the fund. In parallel Oakley has acquired UK-based CTS Group, which will be integrated into Phenna to expand its testing, inspection and geotechnical capabilities and accelerate international growth.

Compass Precision Acquires Strom Manufacturing

Compass Precision, a Charlotte-based platform backed by Main Street Capital Holdings, has acquired Strom Manufacturing, a precision metal components manufacturer based in North Plains, Oregon. The transaction is an add-on to the Compass platform; founder Bill Strom and the existing management team will remain in place as Compass integrates Strom into its network of precision machine shops.

Nottingham-based Phenna Group has acquired PKI Solutions, a Portland, Oregon–based specialist in public key infrastructure (PKI) products, services, and training. The deal adds PKI capability and the PKI Spotlight management solution to Phenna's cyber security offerings and gives the group a West Coast U.S. presence.

Astorg Acquires Majority Stake in Steliau

Astorg, a European private equity firm, has signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Steliau, a pan-European value-added distributor (VAD) of electronic solutions, from B&Capital. Steliau, founded in 1992 and headquartered in Montrouge, France, employs more than 200 people across eight countries and will partner with Astorg to accelerate organic growth and execute a buy-and-build strategy.

Inflexion and Arcmont Invest Growth Capital and Debt into Phenna Group

Inflexion has completed a minority partnership investment in Phenna Group through its Partnership Capital II fund, with Arcmont Asset Management providing a £125 million debt facility. The financing will refinance existing facilities and provide committed capital to support Phenna Group’s near-term acquisitions and accelerate the group's global M&A growth strategy.
