Broadtree Partners Acquires Sayres and Associates

Broadtree Partners, an operator-centric private equity firm, has acquired Sayres and Associates, a Washington, D.C.-based defense contractor providing acquisition, engineering, security and training support services to the U.S. Department of Defense. The deal is financed with senior debt from JPMorgan Chase and subordinated debt from Muzinich & Co.; Broadtree intends to use Sayres as a platform to build a larger government services provider and pursue add-on acquisitions.

Acclaim Technical Services (ATS) has acquired Global Consulting Services, Inc. (GCS), a Rockville, Maryland-based software and systems engineering firm with about 30 employees. The acquisition expands ATS’s mission-technology capabilities—particularly in software development, systems engineering, cloud innovation, configuration/requirements management, and cybersecurity—to better serve Intelligence Community, defense, and law enforcement customers.

SES/SES Government Solutions Acquires DRS Global Enterprise Solutions from Leonardo DRS for $450M

SES, via its wholly-owned subsidiary SES Government Solutions (SES GS), completed the $450 million acquisition of DRS Global Enterprise Solutions (DRS GES) from Leonardo DRS. The deal combines DRS GES with SES GS to create a scaled multi-orbit satellite communications solutions provider focused on expanding US Government business, unlocking about $25 million of annualized synergies and broadening SES's government-focused capabilities.

NV5 Acquires Global Realty Services Group

NV5 Global, Inc. acquired Global Realty Services Group LLC (GRS) in an all-cash transaction to expand NV5's real estate transaction services and bolster its market position in real estate due diligence. The acquisition adds GRS's property condition, environmental assessment, and zoning capabilities and approximately 154 full-time equivalent personnel, and is expected to be immediately accretive to NV5's earnings.

GTCR Acquires Global Claims Services

Chicago-based private equity firm GTCR has closed its acquisition of Global Claims Services (GCS), a Jacksonville, Florida–headquartered InsurTech that provides mobile-first building component evaluation and claims decision-support tools to P&C carriers. GTCR will partner with GCS management and commit incremental equity to support organic growth and M&A activity as it scales GCS’s technology-enabled, data-driven solutions.
