Veritas Capital’s Vantage Fund has made a strategic growth investment in Epiq Solutions, a provider of software-defined radio and turnkey RF solutions for government and enterprise customers. Epiq’s co-founders will remain in leadership and retain significant ownership; financial terms were not disclosed. Veritas says it will support product advancement, national expansion, and targeted acquisitions to scale the business.

Epiq Solutions, a portfolio company of The Veritas Capital Vantage Fund, completed the acquisition of Montreal-based Xiphos Systems Corporation, a provider of high-performance, space-focused embedded computing solutions. Xiphos will join the Epiq platform and continue to operate under its current leadership in Montreal as the combined businesses expand Epiq’s low-power, open-architecture processing capabilities into space and other mission-critical environments; financial terms were not disclosed.

Parsons Corporation Acquires QRC Technologies from DC Capital Partners

Parsons Corporation has agreed to acquire QRC, LLC (QRC Technologies) from private equity firm DC Capital Partners for $215 million in cash. The acquisition brings RF spectrum survey, signals intelligence and electronic warfare hardware and IP into Parsons’ portfolio to expand its defense and intelligence capabilities and accelerate actionable intelligence offerings.

Eqlipse Technologies (Arlington-backed) to Acquire SR Technologies

Eqlipse Technologies, a portfolio company of Arlington Capital Partners, has agreed to acquire SR Technologies (SRT), a provider of signals intelligence (SIGINT) and electronic warfare (EW) products and engineering solutions. The add-on acquisition expands Eqlipse's technical capabilities for Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and federal law enforcement customers; financial terms were not disclosed and the deal was expected to close in Q4 2023.

HawkEye 360 Acquires RF Solutions from Maxar Intelligence

Herndon-based HawkEye 360 has acquired RF Solutions, a Westminster, Colorado business unit formerly part of Maxar Intelligence. The deal, a divestiture of Maxar's RF Solutions assets, adds two on-orbit satellites, IP, a data archive and about 11 employees to HawkEye 360, expanding its RF-spectrum scanning and analytics capabilities.

The acquisition adds Net Vision's SIGINT, telecom-analysis and cloud analytics capabilities to Eqlipse's full-spectrum cyber, signals intelligence and identity-management engineering offerings.
