Deerfield Agency, a portfolio company of The Edgewater Funds, has acquired Verge Scientific Communications, a Virginia-based brand strategy and strategic communications agency serving life sciences and science-driven companies. The acquisition brings Verge's ~40-person team and scientific communications capabilities into Deerfield to deepen services for pre-commercial biotech, pharmaceutical and health-technology clients as an add-on to Deerfield's platform.
