At the same time Playvox raised $25 million led by Five Elms Capital, providing growth capital to accelerate product development, go-to-market expansion, and global growth.

Xero, the New Zealand-founded cloud accounting platform, has agreed to acquire Danish staff rota and workforce management SaaS provider Planday for €183.5 million (€155.7m upfront plus up to €27.8m earnout). The deal is expected to close in March 2022 and aims to integrate Planday’s scheduling and workforce tools into Xero’s small-business ecosystem to drive product capability expansion and revenue growth across key European markets.
