The Shaw Group has acquired all assets and ongoing operations of KP Engineering, creating a new legal entity, KP Shaw, LLC. The acquisition expands Shaw's engineering, procurement and fabrication (EPF) capabilities—particularly for refining, syngas, hydrogen and renewable fuels—by integrating KPE's 19 years of engineering and project execution expertise.

ShawKwei & Partners Acquires ZymeFlow

ShawKwei & Partners, an Asian private equity industrial investor, has acquired 100% of ZymeFlow, a Houston-based provider of ecofriendly chemical decontamination products and services for energy and chemical processing facilities. ShawKwei purchased ZymeFlow from investors including controlling shareholder Thompson Street Capital Partners and will partner with ZymeFlow management to expand the company's US and international presence and complement ShawKwei's existing energy transition investments.

ECP (Energy Capital Partners) Acquires Liberty Tire Recycling from The Carlyle Group

Island Pump and Tank Acquires Petroleum Equipment Construction, Inc.

(PEC), a Lockhart, Florida–based provider of maintenance, testing, repair and installation services for petroleum storage, fueling systems and point-of-sale equipment. The add-on expands Island Pump’s geographic footprint into Florida and enhances service coverage for its existing customers; Capital Southwest Corporation provided financing for the transaction.

SCF Partners Acquires Global E&C from Global Energy Group

Helix Energy Solutions Acquires Alliance Group of Companies

Helix Energy Solutions Group completed the acquisition of 100% of the equity interests in the Alliance group of companies, a Louisiana-based offshore shallow-water decommissioning and support-services provider, for $120 million in cash plus potential earnouts. The deal expands Helix's decommissioning and life-of-field maintenance capabilities and increases its presence on the Gulf of Mexico shelf as part of its Energy Transition strategy.
