Trinseo Acquires Aristech Surfaces LLC

Trinseo (NYSE: TSE) completed the acquisition of Aristech Surfaces LLC, a North American manufacturer of polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) continuous cast and solid surface sheets. The purchase—announced in coordination with SK AA Holdings, an affiliate of Falcon Private Holdings—expands Trinseo's engineered materials portfolio, strengthens its acrylic solutions capability and supports geographic growth, including increased exposure to Asia.

Schur Flexibles Group Acquires Termoplast S.r.L.

Schur Flexibles Group has acquired 100% of Termoplast S.r.L., an Italian producer of 100% recyclable MDO-PE films and operator of an on-site recycling business. The acquisition (closed end of June 2021) will accelerate Schur Flexibles' expansion in the Italian market while preserving continuity as the selling family remains in management.

Trelleborg Group Acquires Aero-Plastics Inc.

Trelleborg Group, through its Trelleborg Sealing Solutions business area, has signed an agreement to acquire Aero-Plastics Inc., a Renton, Washington-based manufacturer of precision injection-molded and thermoformed high-performance polymer components for the aerospace interiors market. The acquisition — expected to close in Q2 2025 — expands Trelleborg's thermoplastics and interiors capabilities, adds capacity and customer relationships, and is intended to generate sales synergies within its aerospace offering.

TriMas Acquires Intertech Plastics

TriMas (NASDAQ: TRS) has acquired Intertech Plastics, a Denver-based custom injection molder that supplies precision plastic components for medical, consumer and industrial applications. The acquisition brings Intertech's ISO 13485-certified, Class 8 cleanroom medical manufacturing capabilities into TriMas Packaging and expands TriMas' product offerings into the life sciences/medical end market.

Trinseo Acquires Heathland B.V.

Plaskolite Acquires Trinseo's Matamoros Cell Cast Acrylic Facility

Plaskolite LLC has agreed to acquire the land, buildings and equipment of Trinseo's cell cast acrylic manufacturing facility in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico. The asset purchase expands Plaskolite's North American footprint and adds cell cast PMMA sheet production capability to its existing acrylic sheet technologies; product shipments from the Matamoros plant were expected to begin in H2 2023.
