Omnicom Acquires Flywheel Digital

Omnicom has agreed to acquire Flywheel Digital, the digital commerce business of Ascential, for approximately $835 million in net cash. The acquisition brings Flywheel's commerce platform and services — including retail commerce operations, media execution, and market intelligence supported by Flywheel Commerce Cloud — into Omnicom to deepen its capabilities in e-commerce, retail media and digital commerce.

Olsam Group Acquires Marketfleet

London-based Amazon aggregator Olsam Group acquired Marketfleet, a US-based aggregator that owns ~11 outdoor-focused brands. The deal gives Olsam a stronger foothold in the outdoor-recreation category and brings Marketfleet's specialized Amazon, analytics, sourcing and product-design talent into Olsam's operations; Marketfleet founder Chris Friedland will depart to pursue other ventures.

Ascential plc Acquires Flywheel Digital LLC

London-based Ascential plc acquired Flywheel Digital LLC, a Baltimore- and Seattle-based e-commerce services and software provider, for $60 million cash upfront with earn-outs of up to $400 million over three years. Flywheel—which offers managed services, software and marketplace expertise to consumer-packaged-goods brands selling on Amazon—will join Ascential's digital marketing/sales division and report to CEO Duncan Painter.

Olsam Group Acquires Dwarfs

London-based eCommerce platform Olsam Group has acquired Netherlands-based ecommerce aggregator Dwarfs to deepen its off-Amazon marketplace expertise and expand omni-channel capabilities. The combined business will be headquartered in London, pursue further acquisitions with an enlarged credit facility, and aims to leverage complementary capabilities (including Bol.com expertise) to drive geographic and channel expansion across Europe and North America.

Flywheel Acquires Radiologics as Part of $22M Series C
