Nasdaq Acquires Adenza from Thoma Bravo for $10.5B

Nasdaq, Inc. has acquired Adenza — the combined Calypso and AxiomSL business — from Thoma Bravo for $10.5 billion in cash and stock, expanding Nasdaq's risk, regulatory and capital markets software capabilities. The acquisition strengthens Nasdaq's Financial Technology offerings, adds a high-margin recurring revenue business (approx. $590M 2023E revenue) and is expected to deliver meaningful cost and revenue synergies.
