Litera Microsystems has acquired Workshare to create a leading supplier of document-drafting technology, combining complementary document comparison and drafting capabilities into a single suite. The transaction is an add-on to Litera (which is backed by private equity firm Hg) and is intended to simplify workflows for law firms and corporate legal teams by consolidating products and support.
