Mullen Group Acquires B. & R. Eckel's Transport Ltd.

Mullen Group Ltd. has entered into a share purchase agreement to acquire B. & R. Eckel's Transport Ltd., a Bonnyville, Alberta-based trucking and logistics operator. The acquisition, funded from Mullen's cash and credit lines, adds 16 facilities, a fleet of ~400 power units and over 950 trailers, ~420 employees and approximately $85.0 million in annualized revenue, expanding Mullen's presence in Northeastern Alberta and energy-focused hauling capabilities.

Mullen Group Acquires Pacific Northwest (PNW) Moving

Mullen Group Ltd. has acquired Pacific Northwest (PNW) Moving and its parent, Pacific Northwest Investments, expanding Mullen’s less‑than‑truckload (LTL) footprint into Northern Alberta and the Yukon. PNW will operate within Mullen Group’s LTL segment and brings two owned terminals (Whitehorse, Yukon and Edmonton, Alberta) plus local moving and storage capabilities; financial terms were not disclosed.

Gannett Fleming TranSystems Acquires Muller & Muller Ltd.

Gannett Fleming TranSystems has acquired Chicago-based architecture firm Muller & Muller Ltd. (M2), a team of about 65 professionals with offices in Chicago, Dallas, Seattle and Peoria. The deal, announced Dec. 3, 2024, adds architectural, planning and structural engineering expertise—particularly in transit and aviation—to Gannett Fleming TranSystems’ service offerings as a PE-backed platform.

Brandt Tractor Ltd. Acquires Cervus Equipment Corporation

Regina-based Brandt Tractor Ltd. completed the acquisition of Calgary-based Cervus Equipment Corporation via a court-approved plan of arrangement on October 22, 2021. The purchaser (13255026 Canada Ltd.), a wholly owned Brandt subsidiary, acquired all outstanding Cervus shares for CAD 19.50 per share (approximately CAD 302 million aggregate), adding Cervus' 64 dealerships and equipment-distribution capabilities across Canada, Australia and New Zealand to Brandt's network.

Mullen Group Acquires ContainerWorld Forwarding Services

Mullen Group Ltd. has acquired Richmond, British Columbia-based ContainerWorld Forwarding Services Inc., adding a leading beverage-alcohol-focused logistics provider to its network. ContainerWorld will operate as an independent, wholly owned subsidiary, with founder Dennis Chrismas remaining in his role; the business is expected to generate roughly CAD 150 million in annualized revenue and expand Mullen's reach in Western Canada.

Muhr und Bender (Mubea) Acquires Cyclone Manufacturing Inc.

Muhr und Bender KG (Mubea) has signed an agreement to acquire Canadian aerospace parts manufacturer Cyclone Manufacturing Inc. from Andrew Sochaj and his family. Cyclone — with roughly 700 employees across Canada and Poland and approx. CAD 120 million in sales (FY22/23) — will be integrated into Mubea's Aviation Division to expand Mubea's production capabilities in larger components and assemblies and broaden its aerospace customer base.
