Detection Technology Acquires Haobo Imaging

Detection Technology Plc has completed the acquisition of 90% of Shanghai Haobo Imaging Technology Co., Ltd (Haobo Imaging) for EUR 12 million, financed with cash reserves and a term loan. Haobo, a Shanghai-based maker of TFT flat-panel X-ray detectors with ~40 employees, will be integrated into Detection Technology's Medical Business Unit while the founders and management retain 10% and the buyer intends to acquire the remainder under agreed terms.
