Hologic Acquires Gynesonics

Hologic Acquires Endomag for $310M

Hologic, Inc. has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Endomagnetics Ltd (Endomag), a Cambridge, U.K.-based developer of breast surgery localization and lymphatic tracing technologies, for approximately $310 million. Endomag generated about $35 million in revenue in 2023; the deal is expected to be slightly dilutive to Hologic's non-GAAP EPS in fiscal 2024, break even in 2025 and be accretive thereafter, and remains subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.

Probo Medical Acquires Mi Healthcare

Probo Medical, a Tampa-based diagnostic imaging equipment provider backed by Avista Capital Partners, has acquired Mi Healthcare, a Liverpool-based supplier of ultrasound and x‑ray sales, rental and service solutions across the United Kingdom. The acquisition expands Probo’s diagnostic imaging sales, rental and service capabilities across the UK and supports the company’s ongoing European expansion; terms were not disclosed.

Mindray Acquires HyTest from Summa Equity for €545 Million

Mindray has signed a definitive agreement to acquire HyTest, a Finland-based developer and manufacturer of high-performance antibodies and antigens for in-vitro diagnostics, from private equity owner Summa Equity for approximately €545 million. The deal, subject to customary regulatory approvals, is expected to close in the second half of the year and expands Mindray’s capabilities and product portfolio in IVD reagents and raw materials.
