Petmate has acquired Pet Qwerks, a designer and developer of flavored nylon chews and interactive pet toys based in Irvine, California. Carl Marks Advisors served as sell-side advisor to Pet Qwerks' founder Jim Gick; financial terms were not disclosed. The acquisition expands Petmate's toy and chew product portfolio and e-commerce reach.

Bansk Group Acquires PetIQ, Inc.

Bansk Group, a New York-based consumer-focused private investment firm, agreed to acquire PetIQ, Inc. in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $1.5 billion ($31.00 per share). The deal, approved by PetIQ’s board and completed on October 25, 2024, takes PetIQ private; the company will continue to be operated independently by its executive team and Bansk plans to invest in brand, marketing, capabilities and strategic growth initiatives.

DaySmart Acquires Time To Pet
