Worldwide Produce, a portfolio company of Sole Source Capital, has acquired Valley Food Services, a fresh produce and dairy distributor serving the Coachella Valley. The add-on expands Worldwide Produce's presence in the Coachella Valley and complements its West Coast distribution network; terms were not disclosed.

Columbia Grain / Enrich Foods Acquires Great River Milling

Columbia Grain International has launched consumer foods subsidiary Enrich Foods, LLC and completed its first acquisition by purchasing Great River Milling in Fountain City, Wisconsin. The acquisition adds organic and specialty flour, grains and co-manufacturing/private-label capacity — supporting Columbia Grain's expansion into retail and e-commerce consumer packaged foods under the Enrich Foods/Balanced Bushel portfolio.

Forever Cheese Acquires Virginia Packing

The deal expands Forever Cheese's value‑added service capabilities — including retail-ready slicing, packing and logistics — and keeps Virginia Packing operating out of its Toano facility.

SugarCreek Packing Co. Acquires Veroni S.p.A.

SugarCreek Packing Co., a U.S.-based protein and packaged foods manufacturer, has acquired 100% of Italian cured-meats maker Veroni S.p.A., including its six production sites in Emilia‑Romagna and a U.S. slicing plant. The deal preserves Veroni's current management and workforce while positioning SugarCreek to expand its product portfolio and international footprint; Veroni also completed the acquisition of Carnigest S.r.l. prior to the transaction.

South Mill Champs Acquires World Fresh Produce
