DalFort Capital Partners, through its affiliate Key Polymer Holdings, LLC (Key Polymer), has acquired Unichem, Inc., a Haw River, North Carolina-based manufacturer of specialty adhesives and custom-formulated chemicals. The acquisition is an add-on to Key Polymer intended to create operational synergies and strengthen the combined companies' position across multiple end markets including automotive, construction and consumer products.

Polymer Adhesives Holdings Acquires Fielco Adhesives

Polymer Adhesives Holdings, a portfolio company of DalFort Capital Partners, has acquired Fielco Adhesives, a Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania-based manufacturer of industrial epoxy adhesive solutions. The add-on expands the platform's formulation capabilities and product portfolio to better serve customers across abrasive converting, paint applicators, grinding wheels, electronic encapsulation and other industrial end markets.

PPG Acquires VersaFlex from DalFort Capital Partners

PPG Industries acquired VersaFlex, a Kansas City-based manufacturer of polyurea, epoxy and polyurethane coatings, from DalFort Capital Partners. VersaFlex generated over $70 million in revenue in 2020 and the acquisition expands PPG's protective coatings portfolio and capabilities in water/wastewater, flooring and infrastructure markets.

The transaction is an add-on acquisition intended to expand LE’s specialty grease and lubricants portfolio, including food-grade and industrial formulations; financial terms were not disclosed.
