American Securities Acquires Trace3 from H.I.G. Capital

Affiliates of private equity firm American Securities have agreed to acquire Trace3 from an affiliate of H.I.G. Capital. Trace3 is an Irvine, California–based IT solutions and managed services provider serving over 2,500 commercial and enterprise clients; financial terms were not disclosed and the deal remains subject to customary closing conditions.

Envase Technologies Acquires Tailwind Transportation Software

Envase Technologies, backed by The Firmament Group, acquired Tailwind Transportation Software to add freight brokerage and over-the-road trucking functionality to its intermodal TMS platform. The acquisition also strengthens Envase's presence in the Canadian market and brings Tailwind's ~500 customers and product suite onto the Envase platform.
