ACON Investments has acquired JD Beauty Co., the owner of WetBrush, Bio Ionic and Ouidad, from Topspin Partners and will merge it with Goody Products (an ACON-owned platform). The combined company will create a multi-brand haircare accessories, styling tool and liquid products platform to accelerate product innovation, distribution and global growth; financial terms were not disclosed.
