Foresight Group and Williams Advanced Engineering invest £1.05m in AudioScenic

Foresight Group (via its Foresight Williams Technology EIS and VCT share class) together with Williams Advanced Engineering have invested £1.05m into AudioScenic, a University of Southampton spin-out developing immersive 3D audio technology. The funding is part of a £1.58m round (including existing investor IP Group) to help AudioScenic commercialise its products and expand its team.

HES Facilities LLC Acquires WFF Facility Services and Clean‑Tech Company

HES Facilities LLC, backed by private equity firm Nautic Partners, has acquired WFF Facility Services and Clean‑Tech Company in a deal that consolidates regional janitorial, groundskeeping, and facility management capabilities under HES. The transaction positions HES as a national leader in education‑focused facilities management and will keep WFF and Clean‑Tech management (including Jonathan Campbell and the Fiala family) as shareholders and operators while Nautic and HES drive further add‑on growth.

Weco Manufacturing Acquires FTT Manufacturing and Electrosurgical Instrument Company (ESI)

Weco Manufacturing Group, a portfolio company of Fairchild Capital Partners, acquired the assets of FTT Manufacturing and Electrosurgical Instrument Company (ESI), both based in Henrietta, New York. The add-on acquisitions increase Weco’s precision machining capacity (including a 55,000 sq ft facility) and add ISO 13485 medical-device capabilities, supporting expansion into medical device and additional aerospace, defense, optics and semiconductor end-markets.

Florida Energy Water and Air (FEWA) Acquires EnviroTech International Inc.

Florida Energy Water and Air (FEWA), a portfolio company of Compass Group Equity Partners, acquired EnviroTech International Inc., a Grand Prairie, Texas-based RainSoft dealer and water treatment services provider. The transaction closed October 1, 2024 and expands FEWA’s footprint and service capabilities in the Dallas–Fort Worth market.

Franklin Energy Acquires AESC and EVA Green Power

Franklin Energy, a portfolio company of Abry Partners, acquired AESC (Alternative Energy Systems Consulting) and EVA Green Power to expand its clean energy engineering, consulting, and distributed energy capabilities. The add-on acquisitions broaden Franklin Energy’s capacity across energy efficiency, demand-side management, solar, storage, EV charging and EPC services, and bolster its integrated offerings for utilities, governments, and commercial & industrial clients.

Brightstar Capital Partners Acquires W.W. Williams

Brightstar Capital Partners has acquired W.W. Williams from One Equity Partners. W.W. Williams is a diversified aftermarket parts and service provider for commercial trucks, trailers, diesel engines, and power generation systems operating across 23 states with over 50 locations and more than 1,250 employees; senior management will retain an ownership stake.
