Cortec Group Fund VIII has made a growth capital investment in Duggal Visual Solutions, a Brooklyn-based provider of visual marketing, large-format printing, displays and creative content services. Michael Duggal remains the largest individual shareholder and will continue to lead the company; the investment will support Duggal's expansion and global growth plans. Terms were not disclosed.

CSI Acquires Velocity Solutions from H.I.G. Capital

Velocity Solutions — a nearly 30-year-old provider of deposit acquisition, customer engagement and intelligent overdraft management software that serves more than 30 million consumers — will be integrated into CSI's suite of products; terms were not disclosed.

UES Acquires CSI to Expand Midwest Operations

UES, a national engineering and consulting firm based in Orlando, Florida, has acquired CSI (Consulting Services Incorporated), a Lexington, Kentucky-based geotechnical engineering, materials testing, and environmental services firm with an additional office in Cincinnati, Ohio. The acquisition brings CSI into UES's Midwest region to expand services and geographic coverage in Kentucky and Ohio; CSI's leadership will continue to operate day-to-day business.
