Cerberus Sentinel (NASDAQ: CISO), a managed cybersecurity and compliance provider based in Scottsdale, Arizona, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire RAN Security, a Buenos Aires–headquartered cybersecurity firm with offices across Chile, Peru, Bolivia, and Paraguay. RAN Security will become a wholly owned subsidiary as Cerberus expands its SOC/managed detection and response capabilities and accelerates its growth strategy in Latin America.

CyberViking — led by founder Carric Dooley — becomes a wholly owned subsidiary and expands Cerberus Sentinel's application security, incident response, threat hunting and SOC capabilities, supporting growth across healthcare and industrial controls customers.

The Cerberus investment provides NetCentrics with additional capital to strengthen financial flexibility and support capability investments and long-term growth; Kenny Cushing was named CEO in connection with the transaction.
