Preformed Line Products Company (PLP) has acquired J.A.P. Indústria de Materiais para Telefonia Ltda (JAP Telecom), a Brazil-based designer and manufacturer of fiber optic connectivity solutions. The acquisition expands PLP's manufacturing footprint and capabilities in South America, providing operational alignment, supply chain efficiencies and increased regional production capacity.

Preformed Line Products (PLP) Acquires Fonderie Richelieu

Preformed Line Products Company's Canadian subsidiary, PLP Canada, has acquired Fonderie Richelieu Inc., a Delson, Quebec-based supplier of cast aluminum components. Operations will be moved into PLP Canada's Montreal facility and Fonderie Richelieu's founder and team will join PLP Canada as PLP expands local manufacturing and adds aluminum casting capability to support Canadian energy and communications markets.

PolyOne Acquires PlastiComp
