Bradford-based Ormandy Rycroft Engineering, part of Avingtrans PLC, has completed the acquisition of HVAC solutions provider HRS Hevac Ltd and spare-parts supplier HeatExchangerSpares.com from Canadian manufacturer Exchanger Industries Ltd. The deals expand Ormandy's product range and spare-parts capability, allow relocation/integration of Elland staff into Ormandy's Bradford manufacturing site, and strengthen supply-chain control and aftermarket services.

Ingersoll Rand Inc. has agreed to acquire Maximus, a Montreal-based provider of digital controls and IIoT production management systems for the agritech market, in an all-cash transaction valued at CAD$135.4 million. The Clearwater, Florida–based dosing pump and fluid-dosing systems business (about 45 employees) will join Ingersoll Rand's Precision and Science Technologies segment, expanding the company's digital and IIoT-enabled capabilities into controlled environment agriculture, hydroponics, horticulture, animal health, food safety and water treatment.
