Lockheed Martin Acquires Hypersonics Portfolio from Integration Innovation (i3)

Lockheed Martin signed a definitive agreement to acquire a portion of Integration Innovation Inc. (i3), specifically i3's hypersonics strike and defense portfolio. The asset is expected to close in about 30 days, and upon closing the hypersonics portfolio will be managed by Lockheed Martin's Space business area to expand hypersonic-specific capabilities for government and commercial customers.

The deal, financed with cash and new debt, will combine Aerojet Rocketdyne’s propulsion and energetics capabilities (about $2.3 billion in revenue and ~5,200 employees) with L3Harris to strengthen defense propulsion, hypersonics and missile-defense offerings; the transaction is expected to close subject to regulatory approvals in 2023.

Lockheed Martin Acquires Amentum's Rapid Solutions Portfolio

Lockheed Martin has completed its acquisition of Amentum’s Rapid Solutions product business, adding radar and payload capabilities to Lockheed Martin Space.
