CJK Group Acquires Allen Press

CJK Group, Inc. has acquired the assets of Allen Press, a Lawrence, Kansas-based print and publishing services company. The acquisition adds a Sheridan-branded printing facility (renamed Sheridan Kansas) and folds Allen Press's editorial and content services into KnowledgeWorks Global Ltd., expanding CJK's production footprint and content capabilities for scholarly and association publishers.

SWCC and Development Bank of Japan Acquire TOTOKU Inc. from Carlyle

Global investment firm Carlyle has agreed to sell TOTOKU Inc., a Japanese manufacturer of specialty wires and electronic devices, to SWCC Corporation and the Development Bank of Japan. The transaction (a Carlyle divestiture) is subject to customary approvals and was announced February 21, 2025 with closing expected by the end of March 2025.

CJK Group Acquires Worzalla and Adds It to Sheridan Print Operations

CJK Group, Inc. has completed the acquisition of Worzalla in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, and will rename the facility Sheridan Worzalla as part of its Sheridan family of print facilities. The acquisition adds a 365,000 sq. ft. plant and approximately 340 employees, expanding CJK/Sheridan's capacity and capabilities in children's and trade book printing as well as reinforcing its presence in education, academic, religious and automotive publishing markets.

World Insurance Associates Acquires TW Group, Inc.

World Insurance Associates LLC acquired the business of TW Group, Inc., an independent insurance agency based in Westmont, Illinois, effective December 31, 2023. The acquisition expands World’s national footprint and adds TWG’s team of experienced insurance professionals across personal, business, life and health lines; terms were not disclosed.
