Blue Wolf Capital to Acquire CIVCO Radiotherapy from Roper Technologies

Blue Wolf Capital Partners has agreed to acquire CIVCO Radiotherapy, a maker of radiotherapy patient positioning and immobilization equipment, from Roper Technologies. CIVCO Radiotherapy, headquartered in Iowa with ~115 employees and serving hospitals and cancer centers globally, will be led by Nat Geissel as CEO following close; terms were not disclosed and the deal is expected to close by year-end.

CQ Medical Acquires Bionix Radiation Therapy Business Unit

CQ Medical has acquired the Radiation Therapy business unit from Bionix, expanding CQ Medical’s patient positioning and radiotherapy marking product portfolio. The deal transfers Bionix’s radiation therapy product lines and commercial team to CQ Medical while Bionix retains its Ambulatory Care business based in Maumee, Ohio.

IZI Medical (Shore Capital-backed) Acquires RadioMed Corporation and VISICOIL from IBA S.A.

IZI Medical Products, LLC, a Shore Capital Partners-backed interventional radiology device platform, acquired RadioMed Corporation and its VISICOIL fiducial marker product family from IBA S.A. The purchase is an add-on to IZI’s portfolio—its fourth add-on in 24 months—and is intended to expand IZI’s imaging marker and interventional oncology offerings through RadioMed’s distribution channels and IZI’s direct sales force.
