Veolia Acquires Alagoas Ambiental and Serquip Tratamentos Resíduos AL

Veolia has acquired two leading waste-management companies in the Brazilian state of Alagoas: Alagoas Ambiental and Serquip Tratamentos Resíduos AL, expanding its Northeast Brazil footprint. The deal (approved by CADE) adds three EcoParks, two healthcare-waste treatment facilities and roughly 380 employees, strengthening Veolia’s municipal, hazardous and recycling waste management and energy-recovery capabilities in the region.
