Atlantic Utility Trailer Sales, Inc. has acquired Utility Trailer Sales of New Jersey, Inc., adding the North Brunswick operations to Atlantic's Thorofare-based dealership. The deal expands Atlantic's coverage into North Jersey, Metro New York and Long Island; Tom Barton (CEO) and Spencer Kiernan (CFO/COO) will continue to lead the combined business and the Dwyer family (previous owners) will join the new Atlantic Utility Trailer Sales, Inc.

Parts for Trucks Acquires Trailine Trailer Parts

Novae LLC, a Brightstar Capital Partners-backed trailer manufacturer, has acquired LOOK Trailers, the largest manufacturer of enclosed cargo trailers in the U.S. LOOK will continue operating its six manufacturing facilities and dealer network as a division of Novae, with founder Matt Arnold joining Novae as Chief Innovation Officer. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Stephenson Equipment Acquires Valley Supply & Equipment

Harrisburg-based Stephenson Equipment (SEI) has acquired Valley Supply & Equipment, a construction equipment dealer with locations in Hagerstown and Baltimore, Maryland, and Manassas Park, Virginia. The deal expands SEI's geographic footprint into Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia, adds locations and staff (Valley employees become employee-owners) and increases SEI's total headcount to 294.

Fultra Acquires East Manufacturing to Expand North American Trailer Footprint

Fultra, parent company of Fruehauf, has acquired East Manufacturing, a Randolph, Ohio-based maker of aluminum flatbed, drop deck, dump and refuse trailers. The acquisition expands Fultra's North American trailer footprint and combines East's dealer network and product capabilities with Fultra/Fruehauf's broader platform to serve commercial vehicle, construction, agricultural and refuse markets.
