Variperm Acquires RGL Reservoir Management and Pacific Perforating

Calgary-based Variperm Canada Limited, a portfolio company backed by SCF Partners, has acquired RGL Reservoir Management Inc. and its wholly owned subsidiary Pacific Perforating, Inc., combining complementary sand-control and flow-control technologies, manufacturing capacity and service capabilities. The deal expands Variperm's product offering, patented technologies and North American footprint to better support oilfield completion and reservoir management customers.

National Oilwell Varco Acquires Permian Fabrication and Services, Inc.

National Oilwell Varco (NOV) has acquired Permian Fabrication and Services, Inc., an Odessa, Texas-based provider of oilfield equipment fabrication and services. The sale, announced by IAG, was completed as a strategic acquisition to bolster NOV's oilfield equipment manufacturing and service capabilities in the Permian Basin.

Ranger Energy Services Acquires PerfX Wireline Services

Ranger Energy Services, Inc. (NYSE: RNGR) completed the acquisition of PerfX Wireline Services on July 8, expanding its Mallard wireline business alongside the recent Patriot Completion Services acquisition. The transactions add significant assets (wireline trucks, pumps, cranes), eight locations and 27 customers, and include a warrant giving Ranger a 30% ownership option in XConnect; Ranger issued shares and assumed certain equipment-related debt as part of the combined deals.

Serva Group, a Tulsa-based manufacturer of well-servicing equipment, has acquired ValTek Industries, a Permian Basin manufacturer of high-pressure hydraulic fracturing pumps, parts and fleet services based in Odessa, Texas. The deal expands Serva's well service pump product line and local service capabilities in the Permian Basin; Serva President Alex Menkhaus will manage the combined operations.
