Assent, a supply chain sustainability management and product compliance provider headquartered in Ottawa, acquired IPOINT, a Germany-based product compliance and sustainability software provider. The deal is Assent’s first acquisition and expands its platform from supply chain compliance into end-to-end product lifecycle intelligence, supporting requirements such as Digital Product Passports and EU sustainability regulations.

Axiom GRC Acquires AssurancePoint

London-headquartered Axiom GRC has acquired AssurancePoint, an Atlanta-based SOC and ISO audit and advisory firm, to strengthen its North American cyber compliance and assurance capabilities. AssurancePoint will integrate with Axiom's U.S. platform IS Partners to expand audit capacity, scale recurring audit delivery, and deepen the company's U.S. delivery footprint.

Hg Acquires Majority Stake in A-LIGN from Warburg Pincus

Hg has acquired a majority stake in A-LIGN from Warburg Pincus to support the cybersecurity compliance firm's next phase of global expansion. HgCapital Trust plc and other institutional clients of Hg (via the Hg Genesis Fund) are investing alongside Hg; terms were not disclosed. A-LIGN, headquartered in Tampa, Florida, is a tech-enabled cyber compliance and audit provider serving over 5,700 clients and will leverage Hg's resources to scale internationally and expand services.
