UFP Industries Acquires Endurable Building Products

UFP Industries, through a subsidiary of UFP Construction, has acquired the assets of Endurable Building Products, a Minnesota-based manufacturer of customized structural aluminum systems for decks, balconies and railings. The acquisition adds Endurable's alumiLAST® product line and experienced leadership to UFP's construction segment and expands UFP's offerings in the multifamily construction market; Endurable reported approximately $15 million in sales in 2020 and its leadership will remain with the business.

UFP Industries Acquires PalletOne

UFP Industries, through its subsidiary UFP Industrial, LLC, acquired 100% of PalletOne, Inc. for approximately $232 million, with PalletOne's management team (including President Howe Wallace) remaining in place. The acquisition expands UFP's industrial packaging and pressure-treated lumber capabilities, adding PalletOne's 17 manufacturing locations (22 total sites across affiliates), Sunbelt Forest Products and SunOne Logistics, and more than 1,500 employees.

UFP Industries Acquires Quest Design & Fabrication and Quest Architectural Millwork

An affiliate of Universal Forest Products, Inc. (d/b/a UFP Industries) acquired the operating assets of Quest Design & Fabrication, LLC and Quest Architectural Millwork, LLC (collectively "Quest"). Based near Houston, Texas, Quest designs, fabricates and installs premium architectural millwork and case goods for commercial end markets and reported approximately $22 million in sales in 2019; Quest's president and CEO Jon Deutser will remain in place. GulfStar Group served as Quest's exclusive financial advisor on the March 2020 transaction.

NWI Enterprises (Harbour Group) Acquires RailFX

NWI Enterprises, a Harbour Group company, has acquired RailFX, a Tacoma-based manufacturer of specialty aluminum railing systems. The acquisition combines RailFX's branded railing products with NWI's Ultra-Tec infill offering to create a single-vendor railing solution for the lumber and building materials channel; terms were not disclosed.

UFP Packaging (UFP Industries) Acquires Titan Corrugated and All Boxed Up

UFP Packaging, an affiliate of UFP Industries, acquired Titan Corrugated, Inc. and its affiliate All Boxed Up, LLC, adding corrugated conversion and distribution capabilities to UFP's industrial packaging portfolio. The combined Titan companies had trailing 12-month sales of approximately $46.5 million through October 2022; Titan's leadership, including founder Jon Reneau, will remain with the business.

United Performance Metals Acquires Fabrisonic LLC

United Performance Metals (an O'Neal Industries affiliate) has acquired Fabrisonic LLC, an ultrasonic/additive metal manufacturing specialist based in Columbus, Ohio. The acquisition expands UPM's advanced manufacturing and specialty metals capabilities by adding Fabrisonic's patented ultrasonic additive manufacturing technology to UPM's processing and materials offerings, supporting end markets including aerospace, defense, space and automotive.
