UFP Industries Subsidiary Deckorators Acquires Ultra Aluminum Manufacturing

UFP Industries’ subsidiary Deckorators, Inc. acquired Ultra Aluminum Manufacturing Inc., a Howell, Michigan manufacturer of ornamental aluminum fencing, gates and railing, for $25.0 million with an additional $2.0 million contingent on performance. The acquisition adds aluminum fencing and railing to Deckorators’ product lineup and preserves existing Ultra leadership while expanding UFP’s building-products offerings.

UFP Industries Acquires PalletOne

UFP Industries, through its subsidiary UFP Industrial, LLC, acquired 100% of PalletOne, Inc. for approximately $232 million, with PalletOne's management team (including President Howe Wallace) remaining in place. The acquisition expands UFP's industrial packaging and pressure-treated lumber capabilities, adding PalletOne's 17 manufacturing locations (22 total sites across affiliates), Sunbelt Forest Products and SunOne Logistics, and more than 1,500 employees.

UFP Industries Acquires Quest Design & Fabrication and Quest Architectural Millwork

An affiliate of Universal Forest Products, Inc. (d/b/a UFP Industries) acquired the operating assets of Quest Design & Fabrication, LLC and Quest Architectural Millwork, LLC (collectively "Quest"). Based near Houston, Texas, Quest designs, fabricates and installs premium architectural millwork and case goods for commercial end markets and reported approximately $22 million in sales in 2019; Quest's president and CEO Jon Deutser will remain in place. GulfStar Group served as Quest's exclusive financial advisor on the March 2020 transaction.

profine Group Acquires EFP International B.V.

profine Group has acquired EFP International B.V., a Netherlands-based designer and manufacturer of aluminium profile and façade systems, expanding profine's product portfolio into aluminium systems and façade solutions. The deal strengthens profine's international construction-market footprint while EFP's former owner Bram Hannessen will remain as General Manager.

Polytek Development Corp. Acquires Endurance Technologies

Polytek Development Corp., a portfolio company of Arsenal Capital Partners, has acquired Endurance Technologies, a South St. Paul, Minnesota-based formulator and manufacturer of polyurethane and epoxy systems. The acquisition expands Polytek's manufacturing footprint, technical capabilities and product portfolio across industrial and consumer end markets; Endurance's owner David Hoeffel will remain active with the brand.

UFP Packaging (UFP Industries) Acquires Titan Corrugated and All Boxed Up

UFP Packaging, an affiliate of UFP Industries, acquired Titan Corrugated, Inc. and its affiliate All Boxed Up, LLC, adding corrugated conversion and distribution capabilities to UFP's industrial packaging portfolio. The combined Titan companies had trailing 12-month sales of approximately $46.5 million through October 2022; Titan's leadership, including founder Jon Reneau, will remain with the business.
