UFP Industries Acquires PalletOne

UFP Industries, through its subsidiary UFP Industrial, LLC, acquired 100% of PalletOne, Inc. for approximately $232 million, with PalletOne's management team (including President Howe Wallace) remaining in place. The acquisition expands UFP's industrial packaging and pressure-treated lumber capabilities, adding PalletOne's 17 manufacturing locations (22 total sites across affiliates), Sunbelt Forest Products and SunOne Logistics, and more than 1,500 employees.

UFP Industries Subsidiary Deckorators Acquires Ultra Aluminum Manufacturing

UFP Industries’ subsidiary Deckorators, Inc. acquired Ultra Aluminum Manufacturing Inc., a Howell, Michigan manufacturer of ornamental aluminum fencing, gates and railing, for $25.0 million with an additional $2.0 million contingent on performance. The acquisition adds aluminum fencing and railing to Deckorators’ product lineup and preserves existing Ultra leadership while expanding UFP’s building-products offerings.

UFP Industries Acquires Endurable Building Products

UFP Industries, through a subsidiary of UFP Construction, has acquired the assets of Endurable Building Products, a Minnesota-based manufacturer of customized structural aluminum systems for decks, balconies and railings. The acquisition adds Endurable's alumiLAST® product line and experienced leadership to UFP's construction segment and expands UFP's offerings in the multifamily construction market; Endurable reported approximately $15 million in sales in 2020 and its leadership will remain with the business.

UFS Acquires Quest Analytics

UFS, the technology outfitter for community banks, has acquired Quest Analytics, a Pittsburgh-based customer engagement and CRM platform built for financial institutions. The deal expands UFS's banking technology suite by integrating Quest Analytics’ modular customer success tools with UFS’s core banking, private cloud and managed services to provide a single partner for community banks.

Victaulic Acquires Utility Coatings & Fabrication (UCF)

Victaulic has acquired Utah-based Utility Coatings & Fabrication (UCF), adding a 21,000-square-foot manufacturing facility near Salt Lake City to expand its western U.S. manufacturing capacity. The deal, completed Feb. 7, enhances Victaulic's capabilities in the large-diameter pipe market and supports the company's strategy to manufacture more products in North America.

Merak Group Acquires Woodcraft Design & Furnishings

Miami-based private equity firm Merak Group has acquired Woodcraft Design and Furnishings, a Central Florida designer and manufacturer of custom furniture for the hospitality industry. Ascension Advisory served as exclusive financial advisor to Woodcraft; Merak says it will provide operational expertise and capital to support growth while preserving the company's founder-led culture.
