Olympic Forest Products Acquires Jacob A. Weaver Co. (and Willis E. Sommers Co.)

Cleveland-based Olympic Forest Products has acquired family-owned Jacob A. Weaver Co., including its Cochranton, Pennsylvania plant, and also purchased Willis E. Sommers Co., a longtime subcontractor. The deal expands Olympic’s manufacturing footprint in the Eastern U.S.; transaction financial terms were not disclosed and the existing Weaver management team will remain in place.
