EasyPark Group Acquires PARK NOW Group

EasyPark Group has completed its acquisition of PARK NOW Group after receiving antitrust approval, with all assets and liabilities transferred from BMW Group and Daimler Mobility AG to EasyPark Group effective June 1, 2021. The combined company will be led by EasyPark CEO Johan Birgersson and aims to scale global digital parking, EV charging and mobility services across more than 3,200 cities. The parties agreed not to disclose transaction terms.

Macquarie Asset Management Acquires Minority Stake in Best in Parking AG

Macquarie Asset Management, via Macquarie European Infrastructure Fund 7, has agreed to acquire a significant minority stake in Best in Parking AG, a Vienna-based developer, owner and operator of parking and mobility infrastructure across Central and Southeast Europe. The investment will support Best in Parking’s rollout of EV charging (targeting ~1,000 chargers by 2025), digital solutions and further site expansion; the Breiteneder family (through Breiteneder Immobilien Parking AG) will retain the majority stake. The transaction was expected to close by Q3 2023 and terms were not disclosed.
