EasyPark Group Acquires Flowbird Group to Create Global Mobility Platform

EasyPark Group has completed its acquisition of Flowbird Group to form a combined global mobility and parking platform. The deal — supported by investment firms Vitruvian Partners, Verdane and Searchlight Capital Partners — brings together mobile parking, pay-and-display hardware, public transport solutions and data capabilities to expand offerings and geographic reach.

Towne Park Acquires Frogparking

Towne Park has acquired Frogparking, a New Zealand-based provider of integrated, cloud-based parking systems, combining Frogparking’s sensor, analytics and AI-driven pricing capabilities with Towne Park’s large-scale parking and hospitality operations. The deal is intended to expand Towne Park’s technology-enabled product suite and enhance solutions for hotels, healthcare campuses, airports, municipalities and commercial operators.

Propark Mobility Acquires California Parking

The deal brings FREENOW’s operations and ~150,000 drivers across 180+ cities into Lyft’s ecosystem, enabling rider/driver roaming, cross‑promotion, and product integration to accelerate geographic and capability expansion.

Macquarie Asset Management Acquires Minority Stake in Best in Parking AG

Macquarie Asset Management, via Macquarie European Infrastructure Fund 7, has agreed to acquire a significant minority stake in Best in Parking AG, a Vienna-based developer, owner and operator of parking and mobility infrastructure across Central and Southeast Europe. The investment will support Best in Parking’s rollout of EV charging (targeting ~1,000 chargers by 2025), digital solutions and further site expansion; the Breiteneder family (through Breiteneder Immobilien Parking AG) will retain the majority stake. The transaction was expected to close by Q3 2023 and terms were not disclosed.
