Babcock & Wilcox Acquires Majority Stake in Fosler Construction (Fosler Solar)

Babcock & Wilcox Enterprises, Inc. signed a definitive agreement to acquire a majority ownership stake in Illinois-based solar contractor Fosler Construction (now operating as Fosler Solar), which will become part of B&W's Renewable segment. Paul Fosler will remain CEO and a minority owner; Fosler provides commercial, industrial and utility-scale solar services, employs ~120 people and owns two community solar projects in Illinois.

Cook & Boardman Acquires Jones Doors & Windows

The Cook & Boardman Group LLC has acquired Jones Doors & Windows, Inc., a Mocksville, North Carolina-based manufacturer and supplier of interior and exterior pre-hung doors, windows, molding, trim, and hardware. Terms were not disclosed; Jones will continue to operate under its existing name. The deal is Cook & Boardman's eleventh acquisition under Platinum Equity's ownership and expands C&B's footprint and manufacturing capabilities in the Southeastern U.S.
