Crisp, a retail data and analytics provider based in Bentonville, Arkansas, has acquired Shelf Engine, an AI-driven demand forecasting and automated ordering company headquartered in Seattle. The deal will integrate Shelf Engine’s perishable-focused forecasting algorithms into Crisp’s collaborative commerce platform to improve inventory optimization, reduce food waste, and expand Crisp’s capabilities in fresh supply chains. Terms were not disclosed.
