Bristow Group to Acquire Berry Aviation for $105 Million

Bristow Group Inc. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Berry Aviation, Inc. from Acorn Capital Management for $105 million in an all-cash transaction. The deal is expected to close in Q3 2026 and is intended to expand Bristow’s U.S. government services offerings with special missions, ISR, MRO, training, and unmanned aerial systems (UAS) capabilities.

Arcline Investment Management Acquires Hartzell Aviation

Arcline Investment Management, a growth-oriented private equity firm, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Hartzell Aviation from Tailwind Technologies. Hartzell, headquartered in Piqua, Ohio, designs and manufactures aircraft propellers and engine accessories through its Hartzell Propeller and Hartzell Engine Tech business units; Arcline said the acquisition fits its strategy of investing in critical suppliers and will support the company's next phase of growth.

FlyUSA Acquires 3B Aviation

FlyUSA has acquired Tampa-based 3B Aviation, expanding FlyUSA's privately managed fleet to 15 aircraft across the Tampa Bay region. 3B Aviation founder Nick Barrows joins FlyUSA as President of Acquisitions and Management; prior to the deal 3B employed about ten pilots and managed 13 aircraft for more than 25 private owners.

Western's Smokehouse Acquires Thrushwood Farms

Family-owned Western's Smokehouse of Greentop, Missouri has entered a definitive agreement to acquire Thrushwood Farms of Galesburg, Illinois. Both companies are backed by investor group Charis Consumer Partners; the deal consolidates manufacturing capacity and capabilities (Thrushwood's retail store will close to focus on expansion) and the Hankes family becomes a shareholder in Western's.

Air T, Inc. Acquires Contrail Aviation Support, Inc.

Air T, Inc. (NASDAQ: AIRT) completed an asset purchase of Contrail Aviation Support, Inc., a Verona, Wisconsin-based supplier of surplus and aftermarket commercial jet engine components. The business was acquired by a newly formed Air T subsidiary (New Contrail), with Joseph Kuhn appointed CEO and all Contrail employees retained to continue operations in Verona.

Fokker Services (Stork N.V.) Acquires Aerotron AirPower

Fokker Services, a unit of Dutch engineering group Stork N.V., has acquired Aerotron AirPower, a LaGrange, Georgia-based provider of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for aircraft components. The deal — terms undisclosed — expands Fokker Services' capabilities and customer base in the U.S. to support its ABACUS logistics program across non-Fokker aircraft.
