Horizon Capital has taken a majority stake in Alchemist, a UK-based learning and development business that combines bespoke learning programmes with a proprietary technology platform. The deal (backed by debt facilities from DunPort Capital Management) positions Alchemist for continued organic growth and a buy-and-build strategy; Rockpool Investments is reported to have exited as the prior investor.
