Orijin, a national leader in correctional education and workforce development technology, has acquired Honest Jobs, a national fair-chance employment platform. The deal integrates Honest Jobs’ job board and reentry resource directory into Orijin’s managed learning platform to create an end-to-end education-to-employment pathway for justice-involved individuals and expand Orijin’s reach into parole, probation, and community corrections.

Justin Nihiser, Barry Gibson, and Matt Rogers have completed a majority acquisition of WonderPlay Brands, the parent company of Kidcreate Studio. The new ownership group plans to invest in franchise support, marketing, curriculum development, and disciplined expansion to grow the youth art enrichment franchise nationwide.

AntX, an Egyptian R&D and R&D-as-a-Service company, has acquired Magnum Egypt, an education technology startup focused on robotics and electronics training. The acquisition will integrate AntX’s advanced R&D capabilities with Magnum’s hands-on STEM education programs to strengthen the entrepreneurship ecosystem and talent pipeline in Upper Egypt.

CIC Partners has realized its investment in American College of Education (ACE) and sold the company to Bain Capital Double Impact, with the transaction completing in Q4 2025. Quizlet has acquired Coconote, a viral AI-powered note-taking and audio-to-study-content app, to extend its audio-based learning and study coaching capabilities. The acquisition integrates Coconote’s audio transcription, summarization and study-content generation into Quizlet’s new AI-powered learning experience to improve retention and on-the-go study workflows.

Volaris Group, an operating group of Constellation Software Inc., has acquired Symplicity Corporation, a leading higher-education career services and student support platform. Symplicity will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, and the acquisition is intended to provide long-term backing to evolve the platform and explore emerging technologies such as AI to better serve universities and employers globally.

Busy Bees North America (BBNA) acquired thirteen early learning centers in the greater Seattle area — seven Kids N Us locations and six Birch Tree Academy locations — expanding BBNA’s U.S. footprint into Washington State. The deal adds roughly 380 educators and staff and more than 1,575 children and families to Busy Bees’ network, growing BBNA to about 270 centers across the United States and Canada.

LearnWell, a U.S.-based provider of K-12 academic continuity and mental/behavioral health services, received a growth investment from the Sustainable Investing business at Goldman Sachs Alternatives to accelerate growth and expand its service footprint. The capital will support scaling LearnWell’s integrated in-school and virtual offerings; the company serves thousands of school districts through a team of educators and therapists and was previously backed by 424 Capital.

Small Miracles, a portfolio company of Chicago-based private equity firm Traverse Pointe Partners, has acquired Gingerbread Schools, Inc., a three-location early learning provider in the Tampa–St. Petersburg, Florida market. Vision Point Capital served as sell-side advisor; the acquisition expands Small Miracles' Florida footprint and increases its total enrollment capacity to more than 2,600 children across its network.

Human Capital Education has acquired Kennedy & Company Education Strategies to combine complementary higher-education advisory capabilities in strategy, enrollment, financial sustainability, and CRM implementation. The deal expands Human Capital Education’s CRM footprint (including Salesforce and Slate) and strengthens its institutional strategy and financial consulting services for colleges and universities across North America and the U.K.

PlayVS has acquired Vanta Esports, adding roughly 3,000 K–12 schools to its scholastic and collegiate gaming network and integrating Vanta’s coaching-led esports platform and events into the PlayVS ecosystem. Newsela has acquired Schoolytics, an analytics and AI platform that consolidates K–12 student data for districts, to integrate student-data dashboards and workflows across its instructional and assessment products. goFLUENT has acquired the business operations of Germany-based Learnship Networks GmbH to strengthen its enterprise language training and assessment capabilities. The deal adds more than 500 qualified trainers (bringing goFLUENT’s trainer base to ~1,500), expands goFLUENT’s footprint in Germany, and integrates Learnship’s customers into goFLUENT’s enterprise integrations and AI-powered learning platform.

Charter Impact, a national provider of back-office financial and operational services for charter schools, has acquired EdFinMN, a Minneapolis-based school finance and back-office firm. The deal brings EdFinMN’s local team and client relationships into Charter Impact’s platform to expand capacity, technology, and service offerings for Minnesota charter schools as part of Charter Impact’s national expansion strategy.

PebblePad has acquired myday, a UK-based student engagement portal, to integrate personalized student-facing services with PebblePad’s ePortfolio, workbook, and assessment platform. The acquisition brings myday’s 14-person team into PebblePad and aims to deepen the company’s presence in further and higher education while serving more than 200 institutions globally; financial terms were not disclosed.

NIIT Learning Systems Limited (NIIT MTS), through its wholly owned U.S. subsidiary NIIT (USA), Inc., has acquired 100% of SweetRush, Inc. for up to $26 million including performance-based earnouts. The acquisition adds SweetRush's AI-enabled custom learning experience design, certification development and talent solutions to NIIT's managed learning services platform and expands near‑shore delivery capability in the Americas.

Captura, a software platform serving high-volume photography studios, has acquired Studio Source Yearbooks to integrate yearbook production support and operational execution into Captura’s ecosystem. The acquisition brings Studio Source’s yearbook operations, administrative dashboard, ecommerce, printing and fulfillment capabilities into Captura to streamline yearbook workflows and reduce administrative burden for studios and schools.

Pathful, the Raleigh-based career readiness and development company, has acquired Jobready360 to integrate its College and Career Readiness (CCR), Work-Based Learning (WBL), and Career and Technical Education (CTE) capabilities into Pathful's platform. The acquisition expands Pathful's product capabilities and customer base—adding hundreds of school district customers and the Jobready360 team to deliver a more comprehensive K-12 career readiness solution. EAB has acquired Hybrid, a Bristol-headquartered higher education marketing agency, from UK private equity firm LDC. The acquisition expands EAB's global reach and strengthens its digital and AI-driven marketing capabilities for universities and colleges across the UK, US and APAC.
