Orijin, a national leader in correctional education and workforce development technology, has acquired Honest Jobs, a national fair-chance employment platform. The deal integrates Honest Jobs’ job board and reentry resource directory into Orijin’s managed learning platform to create an end-to-end education-to-employment pathway for justice-involved individuals and expand Orijin’s reach into parole, probation, and community corrections.

Spartan Education Group (SEG) has acquired Aviator Air Flight School, LLC, a flight training location and FBO at Grand Prairie Municipal Airport in Grand Prairie, Texas. SEG assumed ownership and operations on October 15, 2025, expanding its nationwide pilot training network and adding FAA Part 61 flight training capacity in the Dallas–Fort Worth market.

Wilson Language Training has acquired Valley Speech, the literacy organization founded by Dr. Elsa Cárdenas-Hagan, to expand evidence-based literacy solutions for multilingual learners. The deal brings Valley Speech's Esperanza Spanish literacy program together with Wilson's English-focused Wilson Reading System to broaden structured multiliteracy and professional development offerings for educators.

360training.com, Inc. has acquired three On The Fly brands — TABC On The Fly, Certified On The Fly, and BASSET On The Fly — expanding its food & beverage regulatory training portfolio. The deal strengthens 360training's market leadership by adding state-approved alcohol and food handler certification products that serve hospitality and foodservice professionals across Texas and Illinois.

Archer Review, a Leeds Equity Partners portfolio company based in Dallas, has acquired OnlineMedEd, a leading provider of online medical education content. The deal combines Archer Review’s adaptive learning technology and nursing exam prep with OnlineMedEd’s medical curriculum to create a broader tech-enabled learning ecosystem for medical and nursing students and institutions.

The Stephens Group, LLC has made a minority growth investment in Kalkomey Enterprises, LLC, a Richardson, Texas-based provider of online recreational safety education and software for government agencies and consumers. The investment joins Stephens Group with existing backers Macquarie Capital and Weatherford Capital to support Kalkomey’s continued product, geographic, and market expansion.

NextGen Holdings, LLC, led by founder Michael Reyes, has acquired three KidStrong locations in New England (Boston and New Hampshire) and plans to open 10–12 additional centers across Massachusetts and New Hampshire. The expansion positions NextGen to become one of the largest KidStrong developers in the U.S., with a goal of 25 open units within five years and an emphasis on operational scaling and same-store growth.

Leeds Equity Partners has completed the acquisition of Archer Review and formed a new healthcare education and licensure platform. Unleashed Brands has acquired Sylvan Learning, adding the leading tutoring and K‑12 enrichment franchise to its portfolio of youth-focused brands. Macquarie Capital has acquired Kalkomey, a Richardson, Texas–based provider of online recreational safety education and regulatory software, from Cove Hill Partners (and previously held interests). The investment by Macquarie Capital’s Growth and Technology team will support Kalkomey’s continued growth, scale and expansion into new and adjacent markets globally while Macquarie principals join Kalkomey’s board.

UK-based training provider 3t has acquired ALL STOP!, a Houston-headquartered safety-critical training business, to expand its practical and digital training offering in the United States. The deal combines 3t's learning technology and simulation capabilities with ALL STOP!'s practical facilities in Houston and Houma; ALL STOP!'s founder Adam Lee will continue to lead the business. 3t is backed by specialist investor Bluewater and is pursuing rapid international growth supported by recent financing.

Validated Insights, a higher-education marketing and advertising agency based in Lincolnshire, Illinois, has acquired 32EDU (Thirty Two Edu), a higher-education market research consultancy founded in 2019. The acquisition expands Validated Insights' program and market research capabilities, combining 32EDU's OPM and higher-ed research expertise with Validated Insights' marketing services.

MidOcean Partners has acquired Smith System Driver Improvement Institute, Inc., a leading provider of workplace and driver safety training, from Levine Leichtman Capital Partners. Smith System, headquartered in Arlington, Texas, offers driver safety and fleet management training globally and will partner with MidOcean to accelerate product development, organic growth and M&A; the Smith System management team has also invested alongside MidOcean. Financial terms were not disclosed.

BibliU has acquired Texas Book Company, a Texas-based provider of campus store services and affordable course materials for higher education institutions. The acquisition expands BibliU's Universal Learning offering into a combined campus store management and digital content delivery solution (Universal Learning Plus) and adds an Inclusive Access model to increase affordability and day-one access for students across the U.S.

Emler Swim School (Dallas-based) has acquired Saint Street Swim, a single-location swim school in Houston's River Oaks area. The acquisition expands Emler’s national footprint to 44 locations and marks its seventh location in the greater Houston market.

EducationDynamics, a provider of higher-education marketing and enrollment management solutions, has acquired The U School, a provider of strategic enrollment management consulting and a membership-based coaching model for enrollment teams. The acquisition expands EducationDynamics' advisory and coaching capabilities for colleges and universities to help grow enrollment and improve the student journey.

Providence Equity Partners has made a majority investment in Accelerate Learning, a Houston-based provider of K-12 STEM curriculum and digital learning platforms. Existing investors including funds managed by Carlyle, Quad Partners, Rice University and Owl Ventures will retain minority stakes; financial terms were not disclosed. The investment is intended to help Accelerate Learning scale growth, deepen customer relationships and pursue organic and inorganic expansion opportunities.

iCEV, a Lubbock, Texas-based provider of Career & Technical Education (CTE) curriculum and certification testing, has acquired Eduthings, a CTE-focused data collection, reporting and analytics platform. The deal is an add-on to iCEV's platform supported by an investment from The Riverside Company to expand iCEV's data and analytics capabilities for K-12 and CTE administrators.

Seidler Equity Partners has invested in Unleashed Brands, acquiring a majority stake to fund the franchisor's next phase of growth and future youth-enrichment brand development. Management, led by CEO Michael Browning, will remain in place as the company uses the capital to expand its portfolio and open additional locations across the U.S. and Canada; former investors MPK Equity Partners and AHR Growth Partners exited as part of the transaction.

Dallas-based private equity firm Craftsman Capital has acquired MSB School Services, a provider of special education software and consulting for K-12 districts. Craftsman Capital said it will work with MSB to expand capabilities and accelerate growth while leveraging MSB's X-Logs platform and consulting services.

360training has acquired AdvanceOnline Solutions to expand its Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) online training catalog and add DOT transportation safety courses, including CMV Driver and CMV Motor Carrier Management. The deal broadens 360training's OSHA Online Outreach offerings and complements its existing regulated training brands.

Investment funds managed by Morgan Stanley Capital Partners (MSCP) have completed an investment in Emler Swim School, partnering with the company's management team led by CEO Greg Laird and President/CFO Jim Draudt, who will continue to lead the business. Headquartered in Dallas, Emler operates more than 38 swim school locations across multiple U.S. states and teaches roughly 30,000 students per week; MSCP intends to support growth and add-on acquisitions to expand the platform nationally.

Virtual Job Shadow and Nepris have merged to form Pathful Inc., a comprehensive college and career readiness system headquartered in Austin, Texas. Securly, a K-12 student safety and wellness platform and portfolio company of Golden Gate Capital, has acquired Rhithm, a Fort Worth–based social-emotional learning (SEL) and student wellness platform. The deal combines Rhithm's SEL check-in assessments and content with Securly's whole-student success platform to create an integrated K-12 student wellness solution.

360training has acquired HIPAA Exams (a division of Engaging Training Solutions Inc.) to add 29 HIPAA and healthcare-focused online courses to its library and to launch a new Healthcare vertical. The deal expands 360training's offerings in regulated healthcare compliance training and integrates HIPAA Exams' IACET-accredited content into 360training’s platform.

Lightspeed Systems has acquired CatchOn, an ENA affiliate and provider of real-time learning analytics for K-12 schools, with continued investment support from funds affiliated with Madison Dearborn Partners (MDP). The deal—terms not disclosed—adds CatchOn's analytics and student-engagement insights to Lightspeed's online safety, filtering and classroom-management offerings to create a more comprehensive K-12 edtech suite.

Bloomington-based Solution Tree Inc. acquired Results Coaching Global (RCG), a Texas-based provider of K-12 leadership coaching, in a transaction completed January 3, 2022 for an undisclosed amount. The founders of RCG will remain involved as strategic advisors while RCG will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary to expand Solution Tree's professional learning and coaching capabilities.

Affiliates of private equity firm ZMC have made a growth investment in Simpler Trading (Simpler Holdings, LLC) to accelerate growth, expand technology and broaden the company's educational offerings for individual traders. Founder John Carter will remain engaged in the business and management expects to use ZMC's support to expand into new verticals and enhance the platform both organically and via acquisitions.

The Riverside Company has signed a definitive agreement to invest in iCEV, a Lubbock, Texas–based developer of SaaS-based digital curriculum, instructional materials and certification testing for the Career and Technical Education (CTE) market. Riverside said it will leverage its Education & Training platform to expand iCEV's content and capabilities through organic growth and M&A initiatives.

RLJ Equity Partners has acquired The Ogle School, a Dallas–Fort Worth-based provider of cosmetology and esthetics career education with nine campuses and approximately 2,000 students. The controlling-equity purchase from NCK Capital will support Ogle's growth plans — RLJ provided the equity financing with NBH Bank and Greyrock Capital Group participating in the financing; terms were not disclosed.

360training, backed by GreyLion Capital, acquired several alcohol-safety training brands owned by Health Communications, Inc., including TIPS, GetTIPS, eTIPS, CAST, Compliance Solutions, and ASSET. The deal expands 360training’s regulatory training portfolio and national alcohol-safety coverage, enabling delivery of alcohol server and related compliance courses across all 50 U.S. states.

The Rise Fund (TPG Rise) signed a definitive agreement to acquire a majority stake in Teachers of Tomorrow from Gauge Capital, with Ridgemont Equity Partners joining as a significant minority investor alongside The Rise Fund. The investment will support Teachers of Tomorrow’s geographic expansion, product-line growth, and scaling of its alternative teacher certification, professional development, and placement services across the U.S.

Chicago-based Avathon Capital has made a growth investment in ReUp Education to accelerate the edtech company's product, technology, and coaching capabilities and expand its reach to adult learners. As part of the transaction Avathon will invest in engineering, digital marketing, learner experience, and data/analytics; ReUp also appointed Terah Crews as CEO to lead the next phase of growth.

McCarthy Capital has partnered with CPaT Global to accelerate the aviation training software provider’s growth and expand its CPaT Invent platform and course library. The investment will support product development, userbase expansion and global market growth for CPaT’s distance-learning solutions used by airlines and aviation organizations.

Graduway, a U.K.-based education software provider, has acquired PeerPal, an Austin-based ambassador and admissions management software company. The deal expands Graduway's product suite to cover the full student lifecycle, adding admissions ambassador, marketing and demonstrated-interest capabilities for K-12 schools and universities.

Unleashed Brands, the new portfolio platform formed by the team behind Urban Air Adventure Park, has acquired Snapology, a children's STEAM/STEM enrichment franchise with more than 165 locations. The acquisition brings Snapology's programs into Urban Air parks and strengthens Unleashed Brands' capabilities in play-based education and franchise expansion; terms were not disclosed.

Curriculum Associates, the maker of the i-Ready K–8 assessment and instructional platform, has acquired Mentoring Minds, a Texas-based education publisher of the ThinkUp! Standards Mastery System. The acquisition will migrate Mentoring Minds' ThinkUp! content into the Teacher Toolbox for i-Ready to expand Curriculum Associates' curriculum offerings and support educators with additional instructional resources.

Frontline Education has acquired Hayes Software Systems from Transition Capital Partners to add asset management, inventory control and integrated help desk capabilities for K-12 school districts. Hayes, based in Austin, Texas, will be integrated with Frontline's ERP, SIS and HR systems to provide expanded operational capabilities and support for districts across the U.S.; financial terms were not disclosed.

Serent Capital has made a growth investment in Zollege, a hybrid skills-based vocational training provider focused on dental and medical assisting fields. The capital will support Zollege’s efforts to expand access to affordable, career-focused healthcare training across the United States and the company will add industry veterans Rob Klapper and Peter Waller to its board.

Leeds Equity Partners has made a significant growth investment in engage2learn (e2L), a K-12 professional development coaching and technology provider. Terms were not disclosed; the capital will be used to expand e2L's coaching and technology capabilities while founder Shannon Buerk remains CEO.

Francisco Partners has signed a definitive agreement to acquire BARBRI, a leading provider of technology-enabled legal education, from Leeds Equity Partners. The deal, which was announced March 31, 2021, will transfer ownership of the Dallas-headquartered company to Francisco Partners and is expected to close in Q2 2021 subject to customary approvals.

Finalsite, a Glastonbury-based provider of school websites and digital communications, has acquired SchoolAdmin, an Austin-based K-12 enrollment management platform. The acquisition (Finalsite is a portfolio company of Bridge Growth Partners) expands Finalsite's end-to-end offerings by adding enrollment, admissions and tuition-billing capabilities to its product suite and brings SchoolAdmin's ~650 school customers into Finalsite's client base.

Teachers of Tomorrow, a Gauge Capital portfolio company, has acquired SimpleK12, a video-based professional development platform for educators. The deal expands Teachers of Tomorrow's services across the teacher lifecycle by adding SimpleK12's digital PD content and audience to its alternative certification and teacher support platform.
