Altus Fire and Life Safety, an AE Industrial Partners portfolio platform, acquired Fire Systems, Inc., a family-owned fire and life safety services provider operating primarily in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The founders — Charles and Cheryl Barrett and Gary Lanowy — will retain a minority stake; the acquisition expands Altus' footprint and service capacity in Southern New England.
