American Family Mutual Insurance Company to Acquire Bowhead Specialty Holdings in $1.2 Billion Deal

American Family Mutual Insurance Company has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the outstanding shares of Bowhead Specialty Holdings that it does not already own in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $1.2 billion. Bowhead shareholders will receive $34.00 per share, and the deal is expected to close before the end of 2026, subject to approvals and customary regulatory conditions.
